Why give to shuktara? Here's what our supporters say...
I am running the 2016 Virgin London Marathon for Shuktara Trust (UK) because It is a charity close to my heart.
Continuing my fundraising for Shuktara Trust (UK) because this is an amazing, life changing charity.
Returning to the work of Shuktara, in more than 40 years of working with disabled people I have never been so impressed with the levels of dedication and commitment I witnessed. Shuktara manage to achieve so much with so little and are literally saving children’s lives.
Agreed twice over @david_earp #beautiful #kind & very important in this world of fake everything, honest & true X @my_shuktara https://t.co/O7YBxarLtn

Your YouTube film was so moving
Congratulations on the great work that you do.
It is many years since our Church was visited by David, Shuktara continues in my prayers. My granddaughter (8 yrs) has just presented ‘Shuktara’ as an topic on India at school.
Hi, we have just held our 8th knitting workshop; it was a small group but have raised £90! We had a great day – lots of talking, laughing, eating – and a bit of knitting!
So sorry I missed the supporters lunch this weekend, hopefully next time! Here’s the money I would have spent on that gorgeous menu! Shuktara Trust Rocks!
Thanks to Bengali and Hindi written instructions, a wheezing Ambassador taxi, and a cycle rickshaw, we managed to visit Lula Bari to see the new girls’ home on a recent trip to Kolkata.
